Themes: foundations of computer science
The Quantum Information and Applications (IQA) group works on the theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum communications and quantum internet. Current projects focus on the development of new quantum cryptography protocols, known as hybrids, based on quantum physics and computational assumptions, the design of continuous variable quantum communication systems, as well as experiments investigating new sources of light for quantum communications that are compatible with fiber optic telecommunications networks.
